Breaking Ice in Antarctic

After 24 hours on flights and in airports, we finally arrived in Puenta Arenas, Patagonia, Chile. We spent a couple nights in port and then headed south on the Antarctic Support and Research Vessel LM Gould. The next 8 days we slowly sailed south, performing research and enjoying the travel south. As we neared Antarctica, our days were filled breaking ice, watching Fur Seals play "King of the Mountain" on ice flows and looking for penguins.
